EDIT:

Episode Two Is Now Online!

Here's the YouTube link to episode one of my new minute-and-a-half show, "Horriffic Violence Theater." Drawn in the Microsoft Paint Program and Edited with Pinnacle Studios, Horriffic Violence Theater takes deranged madness to an all new level!

BEFORE CLICKING: Know that I do not have any mental conditions and did this out of sheer boredom. Seriously. You'll see what I mean...

LINK

This all started last year when I started drawing these as two page, black and white flip books and sold them to friends for a quarter. I was somewhat inspired by ZigFried's Paint Wars, so I decided to make these on the computer and put them on YouTube. Expect a new episode every Tuesday night until the end of the "Season," which should be 15-20 episodes. I'll continue to post the links here when I put them on YouTube.

Enjoy! Episode Two

This reminds me of a comic series I used to draw when I was about 9 or so. My first issue started with a dog, named spot, running into the open door of a 10 story apartment building. Each panel showed him running past the windows on each floor until he reached the top and jumped out the open window. Then the comic followed his journey back down past each floor until he hit the ground and splattered everywhere. It was inspired by my cousin's dog doing exactly the same thing (only in a three story house), after that the dog had violent spasms for a few days, then it died. He he, stupid dog. I think I made a few other issues, all depicting dogs dying terrible deaths on the account of their stupidity. If I had had a computer and something like flash when I was 9, I bet I would have a whole folder of overly violent cartoons. Alas, my mom threw away all my comics the first chance she got and all my wonderful work is lost.

The season will end when you get bored making episodes, unless we can put together a petition of 75 signatures asking you to continue.

This sort of reminds me of a group of comics I drew when I was in 8th grade called "The Many Deaths of Pikachu". Some of them actually got quite inventive; if only I knew where I put them....

Hah, I liked it. I gave it a rating of 3 stars.

When i think back about my violent drawings and comics, I had many. (I still draw violent things from time to time.) One of the more memorable episodes involved a number of images depicting Minnie Mouse being tortured, dismembered, and generally killed. (If you ever played "Mickey Mousecapades" for the NES then you'll know why.) I actually remember my father sitting me down and telling me that violence against women is wrong after he saw them. It was funny.

Nah, I'd never heard of Deviant Art 5 years ago. I think I kept the doodles in a notebook of some sort, but I have no idea where the notebook is.

Maybe I'll make new ones!

I played that game and beat it, but it has been so long. Is it because she is so annoying and always gets stuck making it really hard to get through a level, or because of some scene in the game?

Heh, yes to the first part. I needed a therapeutic release for my frustrations and chose violent imagery. (Oh and I think that I beat the game only once.)

Nah, as long as people like it, I think I'll continue. I think it will end when I stop getting ideas of how to kill people in .bmp images...

I keep getting an image of youtube being down for upgraded "formulas." Unless the cartoon character I see is what you were talking about.

Oh, that one is a good oldie. The video dragged on that link a bit though. This link is smoother:

Oh, wow. That was truly pleasant. I'm now going to throw up from laughing too hard.

C3PX said: Gaffer is like that hot girl in high school that you think you have a chance with even though she is way out of your league because she is sweet and not a stuck up bitch who pretends you don’t exist… then one day you spot her making out with some skinny twerp, only on second glance you realize it is the goth girl who always sits in the back of class; at that moment it dawns on you why she is never seen hanging off the arm of any of the jocks… and you realize, damn, she really is unobtainable after all. Not that that is going to stop you from dreaming… Only in this case, Gaffer is actually a guy.

Well, season one finished on May 1st, to anyone who is interested. Here's a link to my channel, where you can access the whole season. Season Two will start this fall on YouTube.

And you all thought I'd never make it past episode three.

Even if you don't like the show, please check out Episode Twelve, which has a video introduction by Joe Bob Billy, creator of the show (he's me, actually) Anyone interested in Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip should also check out my mildly popular video discussing its return on May 24th. We'll find out wheather or not it was cancelled tomorrow (Monday) so it will be obsolete tomorrow, but people seem to like the video.

The violent situations were creatively funny and I liked your choices of music. When you start up your next "season" though, I'd suggest upgrading the visuals and animation a bit more.

These are hilarious in their simplicity, but a few more frames of animation might help.

Thanks for the comments! I kind of had to hit the ground running with this season, without time to break, and so the animation suffered a bit. Plus, my one assistant, Jim Bob Billy, could only animate three out of the sixty five chapters. Since I'll have all summer to work on this next season, I'm going to try and up the animation quality. I think for the joke to work, it has to look at least a little bit crappy, but I'm definately going to put in more detail, and I'll probably put in more frames. There will also be some interactive stuff during the episodes next season that I'm excited about.
