Nero will burn the disc fine that's not the problem (and I use it for all my SL discs). But nero needs one layer (and I forgot which one) to be larger. So if you placed your carefully selected layerbreak at a "wrong" place nero will choose it's own layerbreak position. And usually it will be at places you don't like. With imgburn you can select the option of seamless layerbreak (the layerbreak will not be marked as layerbreak and the dvdplayer will play it seamless).

Edit: If you don't really care about the layerbreak Nero is fine ofcourse.
