A couple of days ago, I was watching Jedi and a question crossed my mind yet again. In the scene after Death Star II blows up and they see the cloud of debris in the sky on Endor, is there a reason why it appeared orangey red? Did they (LFL) think it through scientifically, or just pick that coloring because they thought it would be logical somehow?

I don't usually ask such a scientific question, but every time I watch, I think about that.
