When buying those multi-format player, I really like the Philips ones, they play almost everything you can throw into it including Divx. You can easily modify it to do multi regions too. I think we had a Cyberhome for about two weeks when we yossed it because it had problem playing dual layer discs.

These were dual layer R3 discs. It would only play one layer of the Shaw Brothers remastered DVDs. And they were store bought.
