there is a complete script at http://mitglied.lycos.de/tonymnyphot/forum/m2_etme.htm. I actually took the time to re-edit the script deleting scenes that would not make sense without the game. If you want that, please let me know and i will send it to you. this site was kind enough to put the film, game and short anime in the proper order. keep in mind though the author of this site takes into account that you have the action sequences from the video game, which would either be impossible to get, or at least wouldnt look right.
Ive spent alot of time thinking about this edit, and watching the scenes from the box set since Ive been hoping someone would do this ever since I played ETM.
At first I wanted every scene, as much as I could get included, even if it didnt make any sense, but then I realized that that wouldnt make it a complete movie, it would make it a choppy mess, so I agree that the only scenes that should be used are the ones that make sense within the confines of the film.
However, I realzied with the proper editing, some scenes can make sense if you take them out of sequence and place them in different points in the movie and edit them and combine them with scenes from the film so that the unseen action could take place during those moments.
But don't be afraid to use the scenes like Niobe and Morpheus entering Zion. They are not completely similiar. It will not be that boring, it will be a complete extended version, and afterall, isnt that the point of making this. Also, on the scenes that are repeated between ghost and niobe, i found the scenes with niobe were more meaningful...both the kiss, and the oracle meeting...what we find out from ghost just isnt that earth shattering.
this is all just my opinion...im nobody special, but like ive said, ive spent a couple years thinking about how this should be put together and I would have done it a while ago, had i the technically ability. saying that...if you just ignore me, i will not take offense. otherwise, good luck, and im asking in advance to please send me a copy
