You need to learn the difference between certian forum members, and the community as a whole. You cousin posted to complain about the beautiful women thread, when an easy solution would have been for him simply not to open the beautiful women thread. I think Stinky was the offending person who responded by posting pictures of scantly clad women, this is something they we have all gotten use to from Stinky. I don't think anybody intended to run him off. If he was here for SW conversation, that would have been the place to stay. If you are so easily offended, I think the SW and Preservation section is a good place to be. Most of the offending material, I am assuming, takes place in the Off Topic section.

Video games have been a pretty hot topic lately, and plenty of the members here are gamers.

You say you don't like movies that much. And yes, there are a lot of film geeks around here, film preservation is one of the main points of this site. You seem to be really fond of the Thief and the Cobbler, if it had not been for this site do you think you would ever have heard of it in the first place?

We make jest at one another around here, but I don't think anyone seriously means to offend anyone else (well, most of us don't). Perhaps most of are not use to playing with kids who are very sensitive. We had a female gynecologist leave us at the end of last year for simular reasons. I guess we can get a little crass at times, but that is usually expected from adult male conversation (of which most of us are). It is not that we get extremely offensive. And I don't think anyone was trying to run you off. For the most part, you handled yourself pretty well in that thread (from what I can remember anyway). When someone tries to offend you, or you think they are trying to offend you, the best way over it is not to give them the satifaction of seeing you get in a huff about it.

Anyway Zig, don't know whether to take this Good-bye seriously. If the paint wars experience taught us anything, it is that what Zig says isn't the law. If you change your mind and decide to hang around, feel free. Oh, and if you feel the need to say good-bye again in the future, there are already at least five "I am leaving forever" sort of threads lying around. Might as well resurrect and pirate one of those.
