I believe the PS3 controllers are only offered as wireless. A store couldn't simply leave them out or they'd be stolen. A few places have Wiis you can play on, but as I understand it, controllers are held behind the employee desk and to use one you have to give them your driver's licence or a credit card to ensure you bring the controller back. A coworker was telling me about his first experience playing one.
