I like the one selling on Amazon. It's the special edition, with very good subtitles, and subtitled bonus features. It's also fairly cheap, at 19.99 (or cheaper if you buy it used.) It's R0 too, so no worries about region.
you mean the Director's Cut?

Technically, it's not a director's cut. It's called the "special version," and has about five to eight more minutes added, which, IMO, really, really enhances the film. It's not a director's cut, specifiaclly because the footage addd was filmed after the movie was released. www.battleroyalefilm.net had this to say:

In a nutshell, here are the major changes to the Special Version. Much of the footage was actually shot AFTER the theatrical release of the original version, which is probably why this version of the film is more properly referred to as the "Special Version" rather than a "Director's Cut" (which to me implies that the director re-edited the film using footage that was originally shot for the film, whether or not the footage made it to the final cut of the "original version"):

You can read all about it at THIS link.

Hope I didn't overexplain it.

Also, this DVD I mentioned has really good subs on the added scenes as well. The bonus features, like I said, have subs, but low quality ones. They're satisfactory though, and do the job.
