About the moonlandings

I read in some other threads there were some people who believe the conspiracy theory about the moonlandings being filmed in studios. Maybe this video can do something about that.

On the right side of that screen it says "Meet Girls From Mount Laurel, New Jersey" and it has a cascading series of whore images. I don't live in Jersey. Why do I have to go to Jersey for these whores? I can't afford to go to Jersey right now. OK I'll go to Jersey.

I am of the opinion that the moon landing was actually filmed in a studio on the moon. I hope this doesn't shock you.

Great video, it's just so sad that the conspiracy theorists will watch it and not allow it to soak in at all because they so typically deny facts.

Yes, those conspiracy theorists are quite dumb. I remember hearing a story where some guy accosted Buzz Aldrin and accused him of being a fraud and a disgrace and then Aldrin punched him out--good job! As a photographer, the one that always gets me is the bit about "theres no stars!"--have you ever tried to photograph stars using a motion picture camera? Whenever you see a starscape in a movie, its a special effect, because stars are too dim to expose at 1/48th of a second, especially on 1960's speed stock. The other bit about the flag "flapping in the wind"--yes, all those brilliant CIA conspiracy guys forgot to close the studio doors and a massive gust was whipping through the soundstage (whilst also undisturbing the sand and spacesuite costumes). I think this is all given legitimacy by that dispicably manipulative Fox television special in the late 90's that was in favor of this conspiracy.

Well, there was a special on Fox. That means it must be true!

In any case, one thing I never really understood was the whole deal with how the televised moon landings looked like the ones from Capricorn One (about a fake Mars landing). That was the whole point! (Of Capricorn One, that is).

Nice documentary. I'm really not quite sure what satisfaction certain people get out of suggesting the landings were fake, but, hey, there it is.

that video did nothing for me. if people think the moon landing was faked that is not the video to tell them otherwise.

the guy states that when slowing down the camera the actor can not portray buzz's bouncing steps...
i dunno if this guy is just naturally biased but it looked damn near perfect to me.

well that is hardly the hinge upon which rests the controversy. In fact, this is one of the least significant points, but as the video showed, the weight distribution due to the gravity of earth yields a totally different body motion; maybe its just not as obvious because of the web quality of the vid.

Ah, that damn fox special. Awful. It showed during peak hours and brought so many people to the belief that the moon landing was bunk. Watched by millions of people who had no desire to look into the subject further, but rather to merely accept what they saw. There is another moon landing special produced by the BBC, it is quite good actually. It takes every one of the consiracy theorist claims and one by one debunks them, in the end rather than flat out saying the conspiracy theory is crap it invites the viewer to decide for themselves.

BECAUSE OF CENSORSHIP ON TELEVISION WE DIDN'T GET THE TRUE AUDIO. HOPEFULLY THE GOVERNMENT DOESN'T FIND OUT THAT STINKY POSTED THIS FOR US. THEY WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT OUR EARS REMAIN VIRGINS.

Ive have seen both documentries the Fox consipiracy programme is shown quite frequently on the Sci-Fi channel here in the UK usually before Capricorn One is shown, it makes alot of claims which could be very pursusive to some as it has very little rebuttal in favour of a non-consipiracy and when the one on the BBC was shown the claims are shown to be that just that with very little weight to them.

My uncle actually believes in this "We didn't go to the moon" bullshit. It's funny to hear him talk about it, and how all the facts against it just bounce off. How the hell could that be a conspracy anyway? Ten people have a secretive meeting and the details of what happened get out quickly. How could something like the moon landing, an event involving thousands, be faked AND kept under wraps. If no one had leaked it back in 1969, someone would have leaked in in the almost 40 years since then.

He he, on the Sci-fi channel. He he, right before Capricorn One. I love that. That is the funniest thing. Something that was filmed to be a serious documentary ends up playing frequently on the Sci-Fi channel. That is quite honestly right where it belongs. It is painful how easily convinced people are by that stupid thing. I bet you could get ten of your friends together (as long as they don't have much interest in this subject), show them this documentary, and when it is over to have them discuss it. I bet, as long as there isn't somebody there who knows about this subject and about all the errors in the arguments, that they will very likely lean in favor of the fake moon landings, or at least seriously consider it. Then show them the BBC's documentary and they will all feel like total gits for having taken the Fox special seriously. Especially if they are non American. Many American's still hold some pride that we have been to the moon, and might defend it. Though I am slowly loosing faith in my fellow country men with every "I am ASHAMED to be an American" I see typed.

Stupid Fox Special! Though I will admit, it is a beautifully filmed work of fiction. It is very effective at its intended purpose.

The moon landings were faked, they had to go to Mars to do it but that they faked them.

That is why if you look closely at the footage of Niel Armstrong walking on the moon you can see an Ice Warrior in the background.  NASA says it was a rock but we all know the truth!
