Thanks, ADigitalMan...that was the combination for the menu all right. I've added chapter menus, am mixing a version of the official commentary track (finding out just how many little tiny trims and stretches you and Editous made to the movie

), and am thinking of doing a music-only track and adding that to the disc as well...hey, if you've got the disc real estate available...

This is definitly gonna be replacing my 2004 official product, thanks to both of you for producing such a great disc!

As far as the Heresy mix goes, anyone have any specific thoughts for additions? I love this idea, and seeing as we all seem to be MST3K fans, I combed through some episodes and found a couple of lines which might be useful (although maybe this should be a separate topic if people are interested in continuing it?):

Space Mutiny - "Graphics by Kenner" "Special Effects by Industrial Light and Morons"

Being From Another Planet - "THX!"

Cave Dwellers - "Oh no! They've jumped into a Kurosawa film!"

Laserblast - "Mark Hammil in 'Falling Down'."

Quest of the Delta Knights - "Maybe it's your father." "...Luke"

Sorry for the delay in the cover, my PC's suffering from leaky capacitor syndrome and I can only work for short periods of time before it spontaneously reboots. Nevertheless I have perservered and have sent a copy of the Hybrid Edit cover to ADM for his approval.

For all paying attention, all of DE's 80-some changes are listed on the insert. A very important piece of artwork indeed. Thanks to Boba Feta (as always) for doing this. Way cool artwork!

This Hybrid Edition has been quite popular amongst "piffers" that I provide it to.

Now that we have a good cover made by boba feta, the only complaint has been the lack of info on the cover and the label when it comes to identifying dvd5 and dvd9. Yes it says that on DL you get this and you get that but how do you know by just looking at the dvd case what you have in your hands? Or have I missed something? So my question is: Since there are differences between SL and DL editions, could it be possible to make a label and cover that states which one it is?

Is there a PAL version of this available?

I mean ADigitalMan, I presume you created an NTSC version using DE's NTSC version and other source material (?)
Did you also create a PAL version from DE's PAL version? I suppose not, but I just wondered...

I see the NTSC version on usenet, and will get that if a PAL version is not available.
(I have a multiformat DVD player and multiformat TV, but PAL may be better, colour and vertical resolution etc.)

While this works all day long for me, now that I back up and give it a think, the Heresy Mix isn't worth including. I gave it a good enough shot, but it just doesn't tap my turtle. Is there a single layer version of this available?

What was the cover art (C-3PO and R2-D2) from your Hybrid Edition originally created for? Was it an ROTJ poster?

I'm downloading this from MySpleen now, and am just hoping that I can find a dual-layer burner to burn the full disc once it's done!

Boba Feta -- I went to your site, but all of the cover links I tried were down. Might you be able to restore those?
