Hello, there are only a few days left until the limited edition unaltered DVD versions go off the retail market. I haven’t watched the films in years mostly because I just lost interest and frankly, gotten sick of them. I don’t feel like buying the new versions now but I don’t have a choice if this is the last chance to get the unaltered versions. I know they’re not in anomorphic which pisses me off, so how do they look. I am more interseted in what they look like on a LCD computer monitor because I have a good surround sound card with my computer. I haven’t come across any very good DVD playing software for a computer yet, but I haven’t looked much either. All the DVD decoding software that I have used it the Intervideo DVD player and Nvidia’s “puredecoder” DVD software and I haven’t liked either of them. They both play DVD’s in that lousy, choppy framerate that doesn’t make the movies very enjoyable. Do you know of any really good DVD playing software? I have an Athlon 64 2.2 GHz processor and a 256mb XFX 7800 GT graphicas card plus an Nforce4 motherboard, so my hardware shouldn’t be the limiter to why my DVD’s are playing crappy.
