Best Sports Movie?

My personal favorite is The Sandlot. I know it's a kid's movie, but it just captures the essence of baseball and it's legends so well. Many classic moments.

I'm no sports fan, but this one for me is tied between Field of Dreams of The Sandlot. Sandlot was pretty funny and entertaining, while Field of Dreams really makes you think and get weepy. Plus, they both have James Earl Jones, I love his work.

I don't generally care too much about sports movies. I voted field of dreams since I vaguely remember finding it interesting when I was younger.

I haven't seen any of the movies you selected. But I did like Any given sunday.

sandlot all the way. I don't even really consider it a sports movie. It's just a story about kids learning life's lessons. It just so happens that baseball is a means to that end. But it's just a great movie all around.
