I just came back from a real movie. I haven't seen one of these in a long time... and I'm sorta speechless...

Where to begin?

Well... why do I call it a real movie? It had heart. No tricks, just (to me) good writing, good acting, good old fashioned heart. It's very clear what its message is to me and it, as corny as it sounds, taught me what it takes to be a real man. I've read rocky's been called the everyman, heh, but I think he's beyond that. He personifies goodness. Basic, indomitable goodness within us that when pushed to the limit comes roaring out and ready to fight for what's right. While sitting there in the theater, I felt like I was watching myself on screen because that's, and as corny as it might seem again, how tough it's been for me too in my journey through life thus far. My greatest regret so far is that I've not been as strong as rocky when life gave me lemons. I hope to change that. I want to... damnit I do...

God bless you, Sylvester Stallone. Thanks for the ride, man.
