I'm going to check this out when it's up. If it were my edit, you don't have to do this, but if it were my edit, I'd somehow edit in the old WTC trailer footage back into the movie. I didn't think it was disrespectful to the victims of 9/11, in fact it kinda to me anyway sort of honors the towers by giving them this role to help capture badguys in spidey's web- seemed cool to me.

btw has that extended cut of Spidey 2 aired on fx, yet? Anybody know?

The WTC trailer was a standalone trailer--the footage in it was never meant to be a part of the film, but rather, serve as a teaser, while at the same time, giving nothing about the film itself away. Another example of this type of trailer was the Godzilla trailer that showed the kids inside the museum looking at a T. Rex skeleton, and then having Godzilla's foot come through the roof and stomp the skeleton (an obvious reference to the Jurassic Park movies).

So yeah, never a part of the film.

And the extended cut of Spiderman 2 (which'll likely only be a couple minutes longer) airs January 2nd, I think.
