amen...So are you planning to just trim the Van Wilder scenes Phantom Edit style, or are there even deeper plans intended for this project...any extra scenes worth inserting? details please, DETAILS!!!

I love the work CBB Group has done & can't wait to see if/how you guys manage to turn this flop into a worthwhile picture

Current plan is to insert scenes from the other Blade movies especially for a new intro. We are currently still considering ideas, but the movie will start with an intro drawing a connection with the 2 predecessors: since Blade 1 the vampires have been trying to find a solution for their main weakness: daylight. Our edit will focus more on dracula and his being pureblooded and the beginning and end of it all.
We do want to do more than just delete a few scenes, we want to change the story. Let's see what can be done. If you got ideas, this is the right place and time to toss them around. Everything is possible.
One more thing for sure: since this edit will require heavy sound editing there will be only English language.

Maybe you know a good vampire movie and scenes we could integrate into a Blade-fitting storyline.

request - could you pleas edit out the scene where dracula walks into that vampire store and says "i see that you sell vampire mechandise"
that scene was awful!

most of the comedy/parody elements will vanish. But since he slaughtered them so nicely, I am not so sure, if the entire scene will go, BUT it will definetly be not funny, not even trying to. So, your wish will be granted.

there may be some stuff in the new Blade TV series on SpikeTV. I only saw the first episode, but it's pretty good, maybe you can use some footage from that.

I really would like a copy of this when you're done, if it's anywhere near as good an improvement as DeZIONized and WOTW:TEC were, this is sure to be fantastic!

I'm always looking to trade my edits, if you don't want to get them from a torrent. PM or e-mail!

If you cut out the supporting Nightstalker cast (not including Hannibal and that other woman who's Whistler's daughter), that silly crap with Dracula running around in the daylight stealing kids and threatening to throw them off buildings, and any of the dumb scenes with Parker Posey's character, you might actually have a good movie. Then again, what do I know?

I thought Blade 2 was the best one, man! It was so comic booky, and the jokes didn't consistantly fall flat like in Trinity. Then again, most people disagree with me on this, so whatever, lol.

I agree with you that Blade 2 was better, it was funny without trying to be funny and it was loads better than the first. Three was just too comical for me and this edit has got me excited. Are they going to use and different footage from other sources or not?

It is not yet decided if footage from other movies will be used in this one. We are still working on it and planning takes its time. BUT this will be our next edit, no matter what. Updates to follow soon.
