Has anyone here ever recieved these in your E-mail,since i have a computer and internet connection its the first time i get one of those,here is the story this jerk is saying.

FROM THE DESK OF MR OUSMANE HAMED
MANAGER AUDIT AND ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT
BANK OF AFRICA OUGADOUDOU BURKINAFASO.

I am Mr. Ousmane Hamed, Manager Audit Accounting Department Bank Of Africa

that is been managed by me as the Customer's Account Officer.
Base on my security report, these funds can be claimed without any hitches as no one is aware of the funds and its closing balance except me and the customer (Now Deceased) therefore, I can present you as the Next of Kin and we will work out the modalities for the claiming of the funds in accordance with the law. If you are interested, Please call me to discuss in further details and our sharing ratio will be 60% for me and 30% for you.while 10% will be for the naccasery expenciss that might occur along the line.

I used to get these thing ALL the time. I am talking like once a week at the least. They get very creative. And sadly yes, some poor fools fall for these and sent them their bank account numbers. Some of the stories get really bizzare. One was claimed to be from the wife of a African president. Her husband recently died and she had to stash the funds someplace so the local gov. didn't take it from here because it had been leagally gained. Some of the stories were very impressive, makes me sad these guys aren't working for hollywood. Sad when identity theives can write better stories than paid script writers.

This ancient thread receiveth my bumps for it speaks in similar terms of my mirthful mail. A comfort for me to hear I am not alone!

(Surely, boredom has not led to my perusal of old threads such as these? Oh not I, for indeed I have many uses for my time this day.)

I just got a scam email that stated I had ordered some speakers through Amazon Marketplace(I hadn't)and it wanted me to follow a link to leave feedback. I didn't click on the link but I did go to amazon just to make sure no one had broken into my account,but no one had no speakers had been ordered.

The email had some horrid typos,you would think they could run these scams past someone who speaks english before sending them out.

Wow,I have never had that happen.

I have had "girls" who don't have a picture on their profile try to friend me but never one from Nigeria. Internet scammers have sunk to a new low.
