So, you had the PAL VHS tape from Holland converted into NTSC. I don't know what kind of method the transfer house will have used, but I would be cautious about using this as your source. I don't suppose you can get hold of a player that can play the original PAL tape?

I would still suggest that the easist way to obtain audio sync is to match video to video then copy the audio across. If you don't have the means to capture onto your PC, do you have a DVD recorder?
