He's wise, clever, kind, and a ghost, who ya gonna call? Really he's been my fav character mostly because of how cool he was as this gentle old wizard, a relic from a more civilized age we could only dream about until some guy came along in 1999 and made some silly movies full of fart jokes that totally butchered those dreams...
