So you want the (edited) avi on dvdrs? You won't be able to play it in a standalone dvd player.

I guess you camcorder has a digital connection? Do you have a firewire card in your PC? If not, they are very cheap and it's well woth buying one. It's very easy to capture the DV avi yourself with WinDV.
