I've been thinking it over these past couple of days and decided to trade in my PS2 in hopes to get Wii in the new year. I've got an old 32" 4:3 and the PS2's graphics cut off significantly at the sides giving it a pincushion look that drive me absolutely nuts. I tried a Gamecube on the same TV with not such effect. Plus, there's no point getting a PS3 or 360 as they're best for HDTV's and I don't see myself getting one within the next couple of years. I think Nintendo's approach this generation's of consoles is experimentation in the way the game is played. I think they'll be the first to come out with the next console after this current generation because they probably designed and priced the system with that in mind that most households aren't going HD in the foreseeable future. Sorry, I'm going all over the place with my opinion here. I'm just hoping I'm choosing a console that'll give me an enjoyable gaming experience.
