The change in voice is strange, but I just love that "Tonight you have seen The Birth of the Planet of the Apes" line.

The film does not end after that scene, it goes on. I just faded it out for the preview. We can't just have Caesar and the Apes bring down the human race, the humans must do that for themselves in the story arc. The point of the project is to just tweek the films so that it's told in a new shorter way, not change the point or outcome of original story.

But I must stress that the original film had a harder punch to it. It was recut by the studio to soften it. "We don't want a riot on our hands."

Sweet! I never liked Escape because it was far too light hearted compared to the others. Also glad you're trying to make Conquest even darker than it already is.

I can do you one better. I bought the Ultimate collection complete with the Caesar Ape head!! Can't wait to watch this with the ape head!!

I've got a question though. Is this being done in a circular timeline fashion or an alternative fashion?

Wow, this sounds like quite the undertaking. It will be interesting to see how well the films mesh together. "Battle" has always been the weakest, but in becoming part of this mega-movie it might just work. I'm curious about the the way you're presenting the timeline though: will "Beneath" be the end of the film? I would assume so, but it seems you're telling Taylor's story in flashback, so does that mean Brent's as well, concluding when the apes reveal the Earth's destruction is what sent them back in time?

(You know, it really is amazing me that even though they destroyed the Earth, they managed to make 3 more sequels. PotA is awesome.)

Any news on this?

I viewed clips and I think I prefer the original Beneath footage. I'm sure I'll get used to it though.

The Conquest footage got removed though. It was probably a huge improvement though.

I am very interested in this project as well, though I dont think it has been completed or available yet as I havent seen FanFiltration post for a while on these forums, but once it is available would be most interested in getting hold of it.

It will be worth the wait...

Well, I'm not that sure about the street date {As I don't distribute my own work}, but some fans that do distribute should have it in about 2 months at most. We still have a good friend working on some animated extras that will be lots of fun, and will make this set extra exciting.

Sorry for the hold up on all my projects, but life issues had come into play.
