Limited sw dvds drop in price !!

I thought they where gonna stay at £14.99 but play.com are selling the limited dvds for £8.99 now thats cheap !!

Is it becouse they didnt sell very well that they decided to drop the price ??

Probably. Here in Germany, sales seem to be low, since they are full in stock everywhere. I already saw them for 14.99€.

I dont know how well they sold, I use play.com all the time when I buy Region 2 DVDs as they are one of the cheapest suppliers around and they do reduce the price of all their DVDs eventually....

Wow, in the states you can get them for $15.00 each brand new with no trouble at all. I have even heard of them going for as low as $12.99 each. When they get down to about 50 cents a piece, I may possibly consider buying them. Possibly.

I think that now that the time for the limitied edition is running out, they want to sell as many copies as they can. As the first week sales indicated, there is a market for the OOT, at the least. I hope it's part of an experiment, but I doubt it.

At Walmart they were on sale this past weekend for $9.97, which included the graphic novel.

All the other UK online retailers are still charging full price for these, so this is a just a play.com promotion but it still to much for me to consider purchasing them especially as they have a buy one Bond Ultimate Edition DVD and get one free promotion for £2 more than a single one of these costs at the moment, they have also started selling the limited tin at £33 so I dont know how of them are gonna be sold especially as I assume everyone who wants this already has bought it...

Not true. I would like to have Empire and Jedi, but $10 per is my price point. Star Wars was the only one I was willing to pay near $20 for.
