I'm starting to think this may actually exist somewhere. There are so many memories of this from so many different places.

True, Luke missing DID appear in the novelization, but how many people have REALLY read that? Not enough, I think, to account for all these memories. People must have SEEN this somewhere.

I think we can all agree it was never shown in theaters. But a TV special or airing may be the culprit.
