Hi AdyWan - many thanks for your clip! I must say I was sceptical (highly so!) when I read you'd added facial movements to many of the cantina creatires, but I have to say you've done a class A1 job! I'm sure if you showed this to Lucas he'd slap his forehead, say "why didn't I do that" and give you a job straight away - haha! Well... we should all be so lucky! I simply cannot wait for the full release. That shot of the star destroyers by the death star also made me gasp - amazing stuff! Can't wait to see this on my projector! Any shots which help sell how HUGE the Death Star is can only help the film.

I'm wondering if a few more shots in the trench battle at the end could show the huge scale of this thing? Perhaps in a few more shots show burning debris of crashed Rebel and Imperial ships from previous shots? Just to help show once they crash into the Death Stars surface they don't just disappear? Maybe some twisted wreckage? Just a thought to add to the realism of your project. Sure hope this will be a DVD-9 release as well - it will surely be worth the download time.

Any more donations don't hesitate to ask!

Cheers,

- John

P.S. Also had an idea for the end of Jedi (I know this is far into the future for you but it might be of interest). I was always disappointed and unsold with the huge star destroyer crashing into the Death Star IIs surface from just one crashed ship. How about as Vader is 'awakening' from his evil slumber he silently raises his gloved hand after yelling at Luke "now GO! Leave me!" and - using the force - makes the Imperial Commander pilot the super star destroyer into the heart of the death star? Thereby saving the Rebels in the end? I'm sure with some re-editing and only one or two CGI tweaks this could be accomplished. The would have alot of emotional resonance and really sell the idea that Vader has totally redeemed himself? Also a nice symmetry to it as well - Luke destroys the first Death Star, Vader destroys the second. Just though this has the potential to work nicely and make for a more dramatic ending to the saga.
