Info Wanted: 'T3: Terminated Edition' - has someone ever heard about it?

"T3: Terminated Edition (The Fan Edit)

The Enigma Editors, a group of fans who each in their own field have re-edited different formats and media, have mailed us about their fan-editted T3 movie:

“Dropping by to let you guys know as anonymously as possible that we’ve recently completed, as a labor of love, a completely new edit of T3: Rise of the Machines. In this new version, the film is restructured to allow for better pace, dramatic tension, and edited to remove some of the more ‘tongue in cheek’ moments that lowered the impact of the overall film.”

“Additionally, the beginning and ending have been significantly altered. Lastly, for all those folks missing Brad Fiedel in the music department… his T2 score shines, mixed carefully back into the Terminated Edition. We hope this version will appeal to people who were looking for a slightly tighter, more serious Terminator film, in the vein of its creator, James Cameron.”

Well. That sounds a bit too illegal in our ears!? So we mailed them back for more info about how they ever wanted to proceed, cause re-editing and re-selling it to potential customers is in breach with every copyright licence / etiquette we know of … and we were worried about the impact this news would have on the fans . They were quick in their reply.

“This news is send in as an reminder for all people to keep an eye open for news about the cut …which may find its way around eventually (though not for profit, that’s not our goal necesarily). We’d like to also see if theres enough of a demand from Terminator fans who’d wanna see a better cut of T3. It would be nice to hear a shout-out from Terminator fans all over the world .”

“For now… the edit is done, and we’re still trying to figure out what to do with it, since selling it is illegal. We’re as in the dark about the future of this fan edit as you are. Only time will tell.”

So far so good. Let see what they come up with in the nearby future. Although we would love to see what they have made out of it, we are reluctant about aqcuiring their fan edition, shear due to the illegal character of it all.

Does someone know more about this cut? I have never seen it, and googling finds no other results for me.
The big Terminator fan in me wants to collect all Terminator fanedits, so if someone owns this cut, bring it on! 😉
