I think I'd like to post a goodbye when I leave a message board, but the YAGE is very frowned upon as an internet drama move.

Thus, there's no practical way to bid adieu. You pretty much have to just leave. PM to a few people who might miss you, and vis-versa, is a good idea. But a YAGE is socially unacceptable.
