Star Wars is the only one with a reported probelm with the audio. Bit-hdtv.com's details for the Empire release even went as far to say this:

"This is captured from the German Premier HD the same excellent quality as Episode 4. Sound is in sync. Don't like DD 2.0 don't worry the DD 5.1 synced sound track will come just as it is available for episode 4 and can be found at the same place where this source comes from Usenet."

So to summarise, since the original captures are only English 2.0 on all three movies, people have also been upping 5.1 audio tracks taken from the DVD releases, synced to the HDTV version.

"+++++++++++++ DD 5.1 Sound Tracks ++++++++++++++++
+ +
+ These are available via Usenet's group alt.binaries.hdtv +
+ +
+ file name for Episode 4: arent_you_a_little_synched +
+ file name for Episode 5: some_b_gradeaudio_too 406mb +
+ file name for Episode 6: I_came_I_saw_I_conquered_and_all_in_DD51 +
+ +"

So in lieu of anyone reposting the whole HDTV caps with other audio tracks added, at least the audio tracks themselves are being synced and shared if people have to resort to doing it themselves.

As for Jedi, haven't read anything about sync issues, so I trusts it's okay.

I have a question: Is 5.1 audio from broadcast HDTV better/higher bitrate than DVD 5.1?
