you know rather then kill him, i think they should have just exiled him to a small arctic island. that way we didnt kill hin nature did, and he would be outta our hair, and outta the worlds hair, AND he wouldnt be a myrtre

There is simply no way for this execution to be done away from the media in these days. Leaks of that kinda info, if they even tried to do it somewhere secret, always happen. Very little can be done to stop this from happening and even less can be done to keep people from knowing about it. I can almost guarantee attacks will occur and people will die on the day the execution is carried out.

The fact that there are people that will kill in retaliation for executing this piece of shit of a person makes me feel bad for the world.

yeah thats right, which is what makes me so wery of them just excuting him. hilter killed himself so we didnt have to deal with him, stalin just died. there are so many tyrants in the world but to my knowledge i cant think of one that will ever be killed like saddam. i personally though that napoleans punishment was the best. just excil him so he is gone and outta our hair. drop him on some uncharted island somewhere in the south pacific. do something like that.

In this day and age, I don't think there is such a thing as an "uncharted island" anymore.

Wouldn't it be absolutaly bizarre if the one killed was a look-alike, as he used to have several for this sort of situations? And he is on a tropical island, sitting on a chair on the beach watching the sunset, laughing and drinking from a coconut while Nino Rota's main theme from Amarcord is playing on the background? (fade to black, credits)

Hmm, quite a few said they would like to see it on pay-per-view. Perhaps video games and movies have made us feel we are prepared for any kind of violence. But I certianly hope nobody here really thinks they could sit and enjoy watching somebody (even Sadam) hang to death. Wriggiling and strugling while he pisses all over himself, unless he is lucky, then his neck will break and there wont be much of a show. Either way, if something like that were to be shown on pay-per-view, you know the world is growing too sick. If you read about certian oppressive governments, they used to force citizens to watch "traitors" hang to death. Talk to any one witnessed such things and the will tell you how they couldn't sleep for months without the image of the convulsing man dangling by his neck entering their dreams. I don't think anybody here seriously would enjoy such a thing.
