adywan: I really think the new death star scene is great. It adds a great feel to the Empire that if you think about was always missing. The Empire was always talked about as some galaxy spanning oppressive juggernaut but other than the death star you never get a sense of the "Imperial Might" that is the Empire and I really think the new scene adds much needed "scale" to them. To me it heightens the element of danger and difficulty that the heroes must overcome to win which makes the movie just that much better.

Not to be anal and If I missed you saying the scene still needs some work I apologize. But I noticed something as the Stardestroyer approaches the Deathstar (at 1:18 on the time indicator). As the Stardestroyer in the background gets covered by the Deathstar, the outer edge of the Deathstar seemed somewhat transparent and you could see part of the background Stardestroyer through the Deathstar. Maybe it’s just me and if it’s still in progress I’m sorry to be a nag. On closer inspection I think I may be making things up, it looks ok after I took a better look.

Anyhow great work the scene is already spectacular.
