And learning a new language is waaay better than spending time playing videogames. I can say that from my own experience, being able to fluently speak in english (and I speak better than I write) has opened several doors for me professionally speaking. Jedisage, may I ask what language are your kids going to learn?

Lol, Nintendo bomb? I highly doubt that.

Spanish and French at minimum, and hopefully Mandarin and Cantonese eventually. I see French and Spanish as a necessity given the way immigration is in the U.S. - a North American Union in the next 15 years. The Chinese because they are the up and coming super power and I want them to be able to work with the Chinese if needs be.
I'm also planning to take some Spanish. I speak some, probably enough to get me by in an emergency, but not fluently and I REALLY have to go slowly.
