Well, to tell the truth: I would have been very happy if the german audio track of the limited edition's OOT version of ANH would not be missing quite a chunk of dialogue. I have phoned 2oth century fox and they said I should get a substitution at my local retailer, which I did (it had the same flaws). Then they told me to send a request to a certain fox e-mail adress - I haven't gotten an answer it's been more than 3 weeks now.

My problem is not what George Lucas does as an artist. My problem is, what George Lucas doesn't do because he is too cheap to go all the way in terms of quality. It's not a matter of "I don't like this artistic change to the special edition" or "I don't like the story arc of the prequels", it's just a matter of inferior quality on a purely technical level that aggravates me the most.

It simply doesn't matter anymore what versions you prefer when it comes to the OT - neither the 2004 editions, nor the limited edition "bonus discs" represent the technical level of quality that is standard nowadays.

All I wish for, is a _technically unflawed_ product from Lucasfilm when it comes to the OOT _and_ the special editions.
