This was actually done on the "remastered" version: they took the credits and used John Williams' soundtrack music to get rid of the announcer. I didn't even notice it right away; it was done pretty well. However, I don't think it was exactly the same recording, so it's not the most accurate representation. As far as covering up the network logo goes: this could be done, if someone really thought it was worth the trouble. I can live with the logo, myself.
