I'm here (as I keep repeating over and over and over again) because I care about you guys. I feel bad that there are Star Wars fans who spend more of their time lamenting their fanship than they do celebrating it.
I think that getting Lucas to re-release the O-OT in a proper format would go a long way towards aleviating the negative focus a lot of us have, and if I can help someone like the new stuff more by presenting an alternate viewpoint to "It all sucks ass" then all the better.
The reason I keep speaking out against the negativity, is because I feel it is not helping the cause. Putting Lucas down all the time isn't going to make him think: "Gee, maybe I should go further out of my way for these nice people."
I think that there is a better way to get what we all want.
