I only get time to watch movies every other weekend or so, as I usually make time to watch one SW movie if I can. I will always watch them in order SW, ESB, and ROTJ and I can usually complete the trilogy in a month or two, and then start over again. I tried to watch the PT 1-6 once, and by the middle of AOTC I was feeling more obligated to watch the PT movies rather then WANTING to watch the movies for pure enjoyment. I stuck it out cause I wanted to atleast give old Georgie a shot and say I had watched the saga 1-6 over a couple of weekends, and I have never done it again. The thought of starting at TPM and not really get to anything remotely enjoyable til some of the things that occur in the last hour of Episode III, and then finally getting to something I love at Episode IV?

The PT movies actually made me appreciate the story of the O-OT 4-6 now cause it shows how a story can get lost if you don't plan beforehand. The O-OT was not planned beforehand and it still works well as a story of The rebels vs empire as you follow Luke, Leia, and Han for 3 movies and then there is a subplot with Vaders redemption at the end of ROTJ to give it more depth then your average fantasy movie.

As I said, I want to watch the OT films, I love to watch the OT films, I felt obligated to watch the PT films when I was still in my faze of wanting 1-6 to work, and it took me to finally realize if you are forcing yourself to watch a movie because it is part of the story, then Lucas failed with the PT movies.
