In many respects, it already is a trilogy. S:TM, SII and SR. III and IV are merely incidental.

Fans seem to wish so .

I concur

Are they really that bad? Like Batman and Robin bad? Is that even physically possible?

Superman III. actually had some good parts, like the Smallville parts. Aside from that, I really did not like the movie.
Superman IV was just BAD! So many editing errors that lead to many plotholes. The flying sequemce in this movie actually made me feel embarassed as how Superman erased Lois' memory AGAIN! GG!

I heard the orignal cut of Superman IV was actually really good. Well maybe ADM will make an extended version when the DVD comes out *wink wink*

I want to see the ADM III/IV hybrid.

I need to create better titles than what I've come up with so far. I wish I had the actual software they used to make the titles for SR. Put some proper footage in the background and make them right. I've come up with something that kinda works, but it's extremely chintzy.

I'm more interested in how my cut of SR will turn out. The peeping Tom scene is gonna be gone, gone, gone. I'm just pissed that the Return to Krypton scene won't be included. Perhaps it'll be an easter egg. I keep hoping.

So evidently, there will be no SR sequel?

I hope not.

There will be. I think SR was pretty good, but it had some definite missteps that should be addressed in the sequel.

You hope that there will be or won't be?

I hope there will NOT be a sequel to the lifeless, heartless piece of junk that was Superman Returns.

Didn't like it, huh? May I ask why?

Only if you want me to open up a can of worms so massive it would destroy the universe.

Just go back a few pages, you'll find my rants.

So is anyone here going to buy the Richard Donner penned Action Comics series?

If I pick it up it will be in TPB. Can't afford to expand my pull list.

I think we need to start a new all purpose comic book discussion thread. The old one seems to have disappeared beyond obscurity (as in no longer appears on later pages).

Bad news, Supes fanboys. Very, very bad news indeed.

And an SR sequel has been greelit, with Singer's claim that he can "go Wrath of Kahn on it."
