Yes, it does. Wayne Palmer is president, and the country is in the wake of a 9/11 scale attack. The season will not be as much about stopping terrorists as it will Jack trying to save his own ass.

And to put icing on the cake, Bob Cochran said that the first two episodes are "Very strong, very controversial."
