May as well suggest the Earth isn't flat and that venturing off into the distance won't result in them falling over the edge.

Well I could try posting on the General Star Wars session on the "Form a new sentence using words from the six films names" thread. Or posting on the preservation threads and continue to be ignored because I don't actually DO fan edits.

No Ric, there's no need to play that lame game becuase I have come up with a new one: what new numbers can you come up with using the episode numbers of the Star Wars Movies? You can add, subtract, divide and multiply but you must use all the numbers. Fun, huh?

When there is a half-decent thread in the Star Wars section I post in it, but that is rare. That doesn't mean I don't check it out multiple times a day, hoping for a worthwhile discussion I can be a part of. And as for the preservation threads, well I'm with Hotrod on that one, but again, I still check it regularly and post when I have something to say.

Or, either of you could--God forbid--start a thread.

Forums are what you make of them.

Lots of replying. Not enough posting.

It isn't that we only have to post in the SW or fanedit section, the off topic here is as good a place to discuss anything as anywhere else. Also, I have a friend who once fell over the side of the earth, it is a really depressing subject and I don't want to talk about it. I just hate when people try to claim the world is round, also all this crap about going to the moon and men orbiting the earth from space. All a bunch of crap.

Just because your friend was too dumb to keep himself from walking off the edge of the earth (I mean, come on, it's a big earth. It's not like the edge can sneak up on you), don't take it out on us.

And, ric, don't forget that I'm a regular long-time poster here too. ^_^

Not that that is going to stop you from dreaming… Only in this case, Gaffer is actually a guy.

I know, I am sorry. And he didn't walk over the edge, he sailed over the edge.

Sailed? Well that's even worse. If he had half a brain he'd drop anchor and wait for rescue.

Oh well, touché... But let's see what happens after I do.

You'll never know unless you try

Remember that these forums have survived several bad members/occurrences. Like any forum, it has its dips and valleys. Those who stick around are usually rewarded.

Are you kidding me?! I have started countless threads on this forum. I am also one of the few posters who tries to avoid starting a new thread if my comments can be included in a pre-existing thread. I even tried to start an off-topic thread (the long bridge club) so people could post random thoughts and discussions without clogging up other threads or starting new ones. But maybe next time I want to let everyone know what my new favourite scene in a Star Wars movie is, I'll take your advice and start a new thread.

EDIT: I was going to be childish and start a 'is the world round?' thread, a 'Star Wars episode numbers game' thread, a 'why I haven't purchased the non-anamorphic star wars DVDs yet', a 'the DVDs are technically not the theatrical versions' thread and a 'what did you have for breakfast' thread to prove a point, but I won't.

War does not make one great.

Ah, so that is what the long bridge club was for, lets resurrect it.

Maybe one reason these forums are "dying" is because everybody here is convinced they are. The only real conversation going on right now in off topic is how doomed these threads are, and every one saying that they will probably stop posting here sometime soon.

And don't forget to post every time you decide you have a new favorite movie and game.
