I just had the chance to watch the first episode in the new season of The Batman. All I can say is it is really exciting. I think they realized that it was time to take the series into darker places. Bringing in Robin worked better than I thought. It's a fantastic first episode with tons of nods to Batman The Animated Series. Including Kevin Conroy voicing Robin's father. Mark Hamill voicing Tony Zucco. I watched a few episodes of The Batman when it first started and was not really impressed. I have heard it has gotten better but after seeing this new season start off like this I will be hooked for a while.

Agreed. I've watched this series from the beginning, and while I wasn't as openly hostile about it as some purists, I thought it was lite on serious stories. This episode was definitely a step in the right direction, and the last scene with the shot of the sky line was iconic.

Where can I see this anomally? I looked for it on You Tube and LimeWire but both were no-goes.

Definitely got to catch it man. I was surprised and told my wife as much. Much more true to it's roots and dark. I have hope.
