I suggest you contact one of them and establish a dialogue between your source and this trusted figure. Bill Hunt of The Digital Bits seems to have some lines into Lucasfilm; were he to confirm your statements, they would quickly become internet gospel. There are posters on this forum who could confirm or deny your story while maintaining the confidentiality of your source. A simple thumb up or thumb down from any of these figures would go a long way towards ending this confusion.
