I also think the reason was if it was the main release, it would've had to have been given better treatment. When people complain about the treatment and quality of this release, all Lucas has to say is, "Well the SEs are the main feature and we just included this for an added extra value to our fans." In fact, LFL has even used the word "Value" in one of their trailers. We all know that value typically means "good enough for the $."
