I'd do what I HOPE disney is planning to do with the platinum relase of "Fantasia":
1. 5Oth anniversary theatrical edition of Fantasia, with the Original voice of Deems Taylor giving the shortened narrations that don't spoil the whole segments before you watch them, but with an uncut Pastoral segment (black centaurs and all) and with the remastered audio of the DVD, plus Rachel Field's Lyrics for Schubert's "Ave Maria" so I could put them in subtitles.
2. the 1982 version with the re-recorded Irwin Kostal score (for comparison)

That'd be cool. But I'd go without the 1982 version for them to put in the 60th anniversary edition, just to get a feel for the original narration.
Actually, they could do the original narration segments as bonus features. I'd love to have disc 2 be everything pertaining to Fantasia from the anthology set, and a shitload of new stuff. That'd be cool.
It also needs some better remastering on the picture. "Platinum" style remastering. Even though the platinum editions have faultered in bonus features ever since "Aladdin" the remastering has been top notch. I'd love them to have the bonus features experiance Snow White had on the DVD's again though. That was a great DVD.
