In today's P.C. world, having a gun pointed at you is still not justifiable as self defense. The law, yes, it is. But people will still criticise you and tell you that you did the wrong thing to shoot first. I'm not talking about the real right and wrong, the real cold blood - I'm talking about stupid P.C. rules and George Lucas's pandering to these guidelines to make his children happy. After all, he is the person responsible fore creating C-3PO and Jar-Jar Binks, the two worst characters in the history of Science Fiction.

From crazy women's rights activists claiming that men are the enemy, to MomsAgainstEverythingSinful pushing for cencorship in every piece of media that we see - this scene is just an example that George Lucas does not have any 8@lls.
