There was a movie I saw when I was a wee lad, somewhere around 1976-79, that I've been unable to identify. I *think* it was sort of a superhero movie, and the villain had a weapon that killed people and turned them into something like a mass of glass balls.

I'm fairly certain I saw this at the downtown theater, but I might have dreamed it. Some of my dreams around that age had credits sequences, and at least one featured a fork-tongued Darth Vader. No shit.
