Lucasfilm will probably continue to spout the bullshit that they have been saying in their official response, but hey, Hunt has a section of his website devoted explicitly to explaining why LFL can restore the OOT and just won't.

As for the TFN guys, I don't give a shit if they think alienating fans makes Lucas more money. It doesn't work on me. I'm not buying a shitty product just because it has Star Wars stamped on it. Let Lucas come to me. If he doesn't care, then he will get no money from fans such as myself.

Hunts far from my favorite person, but at least he said fans would be satisified with a proper release of the movies, meaning a new modern video transfer.

How can alienating fans make more money? What does it profit a man to gain the world if he loses his soul? So the product is making money. That doesn't mean that it is a quality product.
Unfortunately, most people will buy anything labeled Star Wars, which means that Lucas can do whatever he wants.
