Apparently the TFN guys will be there too. I know Bill Hunt has been a major critic of the OOT disks so i hope that the TFN guys won't idiotically try to defend LFL the way Sansweet has.

Well, that's just great... I wish a more balanced viewpoint would be there.

Dang, someone beat me to it! What do you have against Hunt, Gaffer Tape? I just hope that he's carefull. If he's respectful, this could be a major victory for us all. Is there any way to contact Hunt?

Gaffer Tape, how can you accuse Hunt of being the polar end of the scale when all of us have opposed it even more than he has?

And Mike, I'm sure Hunt will be very respectful. I read his column every day and he goes into things with an open mind. If he sees thse DVD's and is wowed by them, he'll tell the truth. It'll be hard if the people from TFN are yapping about why you would even want the OOT anyway though. In which case Hunt can bash thier heads in for all I care.

I wasn't referring to Bill Hunt. I was referring to the TFN guys that were said to be there. Sorry I didn't make myself clear before. I'm sure Hunt can hold his own. At least I hope so, because my guess is he'll be the only guy who's in our camp.

What Lucasfilm press release was TheForce.net guy reading from? Was Sansweet off camera feeding him lines? Did he say the right things so "Uncle George" will use four fingers on him tonight? Hunts far from my favorite person, but at least he said fans would be satisified with a proper release of the movies, meaning a new modern video transfer.

Yeah, I just saw it to. The only one not acting like an arrogant jerk was Bill Hunt. Everyone else was saying stuff like "fans will never be happy" and that they're stupid to keep shelling out cash. But Bill said that all fans are asking for is descent transfers that are up to snuff by today's standards. That's all. I could tell he was getting pissed off though. These guys were making fun of him here, and when he did his brilliant Star Trek analogy, one of the other guy's groaned, but Hunt had a point. Star Wars will get milked to much one day, and the cash cow will die.

That Laura guy or what ever his name was was pretty hilarious! He said that there never will be a happy star wars fan because a happy fan has all he needs and that the cash flow would stop. He also said there is no money in giving the fans what they want.

I watched the G4 show, and for the first time I might add. The SW comments were exactly what I expected. And what demographic is that show going for? The reason why I ask is because there was A LOT of sex talk but then the commercials were geared towards younger kids, as I saw one for GI Joe toys, etc. Very strange...

And that Olivia...WOW! I'd like to show her my Wookie.

Well, I thought you were perfectly clear about who you were referring to. Though I did actually read the posts before yours.

As for the TFN guys, I don't give a shit if they think alienating fans makes Lucas more money. It doesn't work on me. I'm not buying a shitty product just because it has Star Wars stamped on it. Let Lucas come to me. If he doesn't care, then he will get no money from fans such as myself.
