The 2006 GOUT DVDs... Has anyone actually seen them yet?

Title says it all. I figured there'd be a flood of comments about this transfer already.
Except for discussion of the PAL set being a conversion from the NTSC, no one seem to have a comment.

Is everyone else waiting to buy these too?

Well keep in mind I've never owned a fan made LD transer for comparison and to date only own Star Wars. I will say the picture is quite nice and will suite any fan's need to do any fan edits in the future. Granted I believe the original crawl was re-created, Greedo's subtitles are on two lines (which will iritate anyone zooming on their 16x9 TV) and the sound mix is from the '93 editions. Overall, I think they're worth it. Granted I haven't purchased a Lucasfilm product since `94 but that's my 2 cents.

Sluggo is correct. We should just rename General Star Wars Discussion to General GOUT Discussion for the next few days...

Now if you want to have a technical discussion about editing the DVDs or whatever, I have no problem with that here. But otherwise, let's keep the reactions and opinions over there.
