No real evidence of Luke missing with the grappling hook has ever surfaced in all the years people have claimed to have seen it. Same with the ships hitting the Death Star shield (which even I thought I might have seen at one point).

I'll pay 50 bucks to anyone who can actually provide hard evidence that either of these two Star Wars urban legends made it to film.

P.S. - People claiming to have seen the Biggs on Tatooine scenes in the film aren't even going to be considered.
