The idea (s) outlined in the last couple of posts sound great to me. Jar-Jar speaks English for my movie, but it’s up to the editors on Ep. I whether to follow that completely or not. That actually did occur to me, though, while watching “The Clone War” a long time ago. Wouldn’t Jar-Jar have learned “Basic” by now? Anyway, I’m really looking forward to hearing Sluggo’s ADR for that soon, whether he has an Aussie accent or not.
I’m at work on building the sound mix- still. I’ll be working on that for at least the rest of September. And just for the record, this is NOT the fun part

Especially difficult is mixing Anakin’s voice so that it sounds like it’s in the same space. I think I know now why nobody attempted anything this crazy before. It’s absolutely painstaking to get it right. As it is, I’m going to have to rerecord some ADR because I wasn’t physically far enough away from the mike during the recording.
However, it is very possible to get right, and it will be right before the release. And for the record, I'm up to twelve new character voices for this movie.
-------------
Behind the scenes, Weezer has already read all of my stormtrooper dialogue, recorded it, and gotten the files to me. How quick was that?

I’m pretty sure nobody’s ever seen or heard anything like this before in a SW prequel.

REQUESTS:
-Still need the Fox logo from "Alien"
-Still need an actor for Uncle Owen (and hopefully Boba Fett, if anyone knows a younger kid that could help. I've already cleared out the original voice in the sound mix for another person. This kid's voice was a common complaint about the movie, and I thought, "Why not." He only has a few lines.
If anyone could help, that'd be great.
May the force be with you,
-TM
P.S. Thanks a lot for the KOTOR soundtrack, Marvolo. Unfortunately my machine says that all of the files are corrupted. Does anyone else have this problem?
