Don't get me wrong, if I were in the same position Falle and Jupiter Prime were in regarding their cover sites I'd go with the donation route myself. I think the pay access POV is to limit the spread of an artists content in the internet. I see this in a lot of the pay cover forums. Many of the artists would prefer those seeking out their work to go straight to the source. Now, in Coov's and Rik's case (correct me if I'm wrong) they only create Star Wars content and this is the source to showcase their work. OT.com isn't a pay site, but if it were I'm sure they'd want others to go straight to the source for their covers (ie here). I'm sure when Sith Angel gets his site online, he'll go the pay or donate route too. I think it's our nature to want a little compinsation for our efforts even if they come from copyrighed material. What if you commisioned a local artist to draw a picture of Spider-man for example. So what I tell you is true, from a certain point of view.
