Zion, MeBeJedi, et al...

I know that the official release is coming up quick and you are working like mad to get things done. However, would you think it possible to give us a small morsel of an update? Better yet, would give us a web doc or quicktime movie?

Please?!?

Thank you.

Ever see 'The girl, the gold watch and everything"? I could use the gold watch...

Anyone got a PCI-PATA/SATA controller card? Mine is pissing me off to no end.

MeBeJedi: Sadly, I believe the prequels are beyond repair.
JediRandy: They’re certainly beyond any repair you’re capable of making.

MeBeJedi: You aren’t one of us.
Go-Mer-Tonic: I can’t say I find that very disappointing.

JediRandy: I won’t suck as much as a fan edit.

I think it is great that you guys are taking your time to do it right. I wouldn't worry about making a September completion date. I do think a May 2007 date would be really cool though.

It would be nice to see some screenshot between the X0 version and the new DVD. Any coming soon?

I have also done some capturing myself (thanks Zion for your help) and will do some odd movies now.

$13k for a program less than 6mb? How do I get in on that scam.

How is selling a product a scam?

And besides, it's not the size of the product, it's how you use it.

You are passing up on a great opportunity to makes lots of money,
make Lucas lose a lot of his money
and make him look bad to the entire world
and you could be well known and liked

None of us here like Lucas or Lucasfilm.
I have death wishes on Lucas and Macullum.
we could all probably get 10s of thousands of dollars!

Film Fix isn't a program, it is a plug-in for Adobe After Effects. I have tried it out and it is way over priced in my opinion.

You know... only someone with a small product would say that.

Christ, dude...do you take EVERYTHING so literally, or are you just that desperate to ruffle feathers?

It was just an excuse to use the line following that one...

The Special Collection laserdisk set from Japan, is that in NTSC format? I think they use the same NTSC video standard in Japan as we do here in the U.S., but I'm not sure.

The Star Wars trilogy. There can be only one.

Not quite: Japan uses NTSC-J, which has no pedestal (I think it's called?). So blacks run from 0, not 16. In other words, NTSC-J is a little better than what's available in the US or Canada, because it has a slightly wider dynamic range. Of course, it sort of makes sense that this fix was made, because NTSC wasn't adopted in Japan until after it could have been fixed in North America, too. But by then it was too late...

I was going to post about NTSC-J, but then I thought: Karyudo is bound to catch that one.

Am I that predictable? Perhaps I am...

I am now waiting for Laserman to show up and trump us all, as usual!

Yay For The XO Project, Kudos to you im really looking foward to the day when i can watch them!
After Looking at The new Screenshots On StarWars.com for the 2006 OT dvds, im now sure that Lucas is going to release the worst looking version of the OT on DVD. Then bring out the 2007 versions where even more gets changed and force people into submission.
im just glad that there is a place like OT.com where like minded individuals can come together and truly create a great version of The OT on Dvd worth watching!
thanks XO Project
Episode I, II and III ? Never Heard Of them! :-P
